Reading Education Assistance Dog program launched in Slovenia

ReadingEducation Assistance Dog (READ) program is a special form of dog therapy programs. In Slovenia, the dog therapy society Tacke Pomagacke started the program five years ago. Now the children's reading sessions with dogs are held each week throughout the year all over Slovenia. Therapy dogs are specially trained and certified for the READ program as well as their handlers.
